For the past two weeks, I have been very busy! I don’t know which way I am going. If it’s not work, it’s school. If it’s not school it’s my business. Even today as I spend time with God, I am sitting in the airport, headed to Detroit, MI to teach at a young adult conference.
I am not complaining! I am so very grateful that God is opening doors for me in every area of my life. Late last night as I asked God for strength to finish an assignment, He reminded me that everything that I am going through is a process. Now I will admit it has been nights when I was ready to throw in the towel, and give up something that I am involved in. But God told me HE would be my strength!
For the past two weeks I have relied on Starbucks coffee in the morning and energy drinks at night. But last night, God said let me be your strength. I believe that God wants us to rely on his strength!
So on this Friday, God wants you to put into actions a familiar scripture!
Philippians 4:13, “ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
The Message Bible says in Philippians 4:13, “Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.”
Thank you GOD! Because through HIM we can make it through ANYTHING, No matter where we are… What resources we have… But through the One who designed me to be the person that I am today… I have strength!
As I think about Jesus, it was rarely in the Word that we heard that He was doing NOTHING! And as we grow to be more like Him, there will be times when we are so busy. But I would rather be busy doing what God has
placed me here to do than to be doing foolishness.
I encourage you to depend on God for your strength to make it through these busy times!
Dear God, we come to you today asking that you forgive us for our sins. Forgive us for complaining and wanting to give up. God, give us the strength to complete every task that you have called us here to do. When we are tired, give us strength! When we are ready to throw in the towel, give us the wisdom to keep going. Lord, we love you! We thank
you! And without you we are nothing…In Jesus name we pray! Amen!
