Yesterday is gone—the one day set aside in our Nation to remember the fallen and honor all veterans and military personnel for their service and sacrifice. What now? Do we wait another year before we take time to remember? Do we wait another year before we say, “Thank you” for your commitment and courage to risk your life so that we can take our freedoms for granted again and again? Do we wait another year before we express our concern and care for the families of those servicemen and women who suffer such untimely loss, or have to adapt to new lifestyles because they are now wounded warriors?

Yesterday is gone. One day to remember is not long enough. I pray that everyday is a Memorial Day…a day to pray for peace to end war, a day to pray for love among our fellowmen, a day to pray for military families that…
